Road Trip April 2001

I went to southern Utah in the late spring to Cedar Mesa, Butler Wash (again), and northwestern New Mexico.
I decided to avoid the major sights and sites this time (National Parks and Monuments) and go to the BLM lands
and other more or less uncontrolled wild areas. I primarily went to Butler Wash near Bluff, UT, Cedar Mesa,
and areas between. I also visited northwestern New Mexico to see Chaco Canyon and and simply to "tag" New Mexico
as the last of the 50 United States that I have visited. I think I was a little rusty with my photography ...
I had my new 2000 Toyota Tundra that allowed me to get to places I otherwise couldn't have, like Cedar Mesa.
I also spent the whole trip listening to David Gray's Album White Ladder, which Phyllis had sent me for my birthday.
Listen to the song "Babylon". That song went right into me. Many other big things happened in 2001 then!
